About Us
Polly Onet
As President of Ober, Onet & Associates, a post she has held since 1994, Polly Onet is directly responsible for orchestrating weddings, birthday and anniversary celebrations, bar/bat mitzvahs and charity fundraisers for many prominent individuals, as well as business events for some of America's leading companies.
Ms. Onet began her career as the events and publicity director for the Junior International Club, an organization formed to encourage elite young members of New York's international community to socialize and network.
After joining Ober, Onet & Associates in 1988 (then called Gustavus Ober Associates,) her unerring taste, extensive contacts and ability to organize complex events allowed her to quickly rise through the ranks, and she was named a partner in the firm just six years later.
Events handled by Ms. Onet range from an elegant dinner under a specially-constructed tent in East Hampton, to a bar mitzvah for 100 teenagers, to a four-day wedding celebration at a medieval castle in Ireland, as well as numerous restaurant openings and fashion productions. Along with private and social events, Ms. Onet has handled a host of fundraising projects for organizations such as the Lenox Hill Neighborhood Association, the Winston Churchill Memorial Library and the Soros Foundation.
Ms. Onet is a sought-after expert in the special events field and has been profiled in the Washington Post, In Style, W, Women's Wear Daily, Quest, Avenue, Manhattan Style and on various television programs.
